Anderlecht - Malaga 0-3

Anderlecht suffered a serious defeat in the Champions League. Malaga, from Spain, beat the Brussels' team with 0-3. Anderlecht are now third in the group, since Zenit lost their second game in a row.


Anderlecht wanted to surprise Malaga from the start, but the passing wasn't accurate enough. Malaga slowly grew into the game and became dominant. Proto had to save Anderlecht twice before half time. On the other side, Mbokani missed on a good centre of Kouyate.

A few seconds before half time, Malaga came 0-1 ahead when Eliseu aimed the ball into the upper corner with an effort from outside the box.

Anderlecht tried to overcome the setback in the second half but Joaquin quickly doubled the lead of the visitors from the penalty spot when Kouyate had made a penalty foul.

The home side understood the match was over and Eliseu even scored his second of the evening...
