West Bromwich hopes Anderlecht will be eliminated

The English team West Bromwich are still interested in Aruna Dindane. The team hopes Anderlecht won't make it through the Champions League, because they expect that Anderlecht will let their Ivorian striker leave.


West Bromwich-manager Gary Mergson confirms that they are still negotiating with Aruna. "We are trying to reach an agreement with Anderlecht, but we aren't their yet", said Mergson. The transfer market closes on 31 August, and we will keep trying to come to an agreement."

Does West Bromwich hope Anderlecht won't reach the Champions League? "Whether they will make it through the Champions League, will certainly have a serious influence on a possible transfer", he admitted.
