Tonight exactly, it will have been 11 months since Ronald Vargas sustained his second severe injury in a row. Tonight, he will be in the starting eleven in the cup game against Boussu Dour (second division). "I'm ready", he says.

"All negatives thoughts have vanished from my mind. I'm mentally stronger than ever."

Like many other players, Vargas seems thrilled with the 'new' coach. "He never told me he would let me play, until now. As I watched the team play at Waregem, I was wondering who he would take off, to put me in stead. All the players in my position were doing so well, it wasn't going to be easy."

"When the coach took my with to Milan, I saw it as a good sign, but I understand he was waiting for the right time to bring me."
