Anderlecht might have a chance in the CL

It's been six years since Anderlecht last competed in the Champions League. Now, it's been said that Anderlecht might be the surprise of group C, with Malaga, Zenit and AC Milan.


The lack of experience in the Champions League for Zenit and especially Malaga could help the Belgian champions. Dieumerci Mbokani is considered key player to pull Anderlecht through. He seems in the shape of his life, finally recovered from the failures at Wolfsburg and Monaco.

Because of him, also Milan Jovanovic has come back to the surface. He seems to bring out the best in him. That, together with a certain flair that play maker Lucas Biglia can offer Anderlecht, and top defender Cheikhou Kouyaté, could give the boys from Brussels just what they need to, at the least, come in third place and continue in the Europa league.
