Zenit sign Axel Witsel and Hulk

Zenit have bought Benfica's Axel Witsel and FC Porto's Hulk, spending a total of 90 million euros on both players.


Red Devil Axel Witsel is a well known player in Anderlecht, and not so much in a good way. While playing for Standard Liege, he attacked Anderlecht player Marcin Wasilewski with a horrible tackle, causing him a fractured leg and a year of rehabilitation.

We shouldn't live in the past, they say, but it's highly doubtful the Anderlecht fans will have forgiven Axel Witsel. We'll have to wait and see what the reunion brings, on the 6th of November, when Anderlecht plays Zenit at home.
