Reaching the Champions League is more important than ever now for Anderlecht. Qualifying means an additional 15 million euro for the club, but two key players also linked their future with the Champions League.

Dieumerci Mbokani and Cheikhou Kouyate both indicated they are willing to stay in Anderlecht if the club makes it to the Champions League. If not, both of them might leave before the end of August.

Kouyate played excellent Olympic games and can count on a lot of interest from especially English clubs. Also Mbokani indicated he would like to play in the Premier League. Yesterday after the match against Cercle Bruges both players reacted in an interview.

Kouyate: "I got a lot of attention on the Olympics, but there is nothing concrete yet. Whether I'll stay? We'll see..."

Mbokani: "I told Besnik Hasi (assistant coach) that I would score today and I succeeded in a hattrick. Now we have to focus on the Champions League. If we make it, I will stay."
