Kortrijk already take points from Anderlecht

Anderlecht already lost points in their first league game. The Mauves came 1-0 behind in Kortrijk, missed a penalty but eventually managed to equalise via Olivier Deschacht.


Kortrijk took the best start in the game with a few attempts. After 20 minutes of play, Zukanovic pushed the ball past Proto when the defence failed to clear the ball from the box. Anderlecht couldn't really react. The champions were only dangerous on free kicks.

Van den Brom reacted by replacing Reynaldo and Jovanovic for Iakovenko and De Sutter. When Mbokani was brought down in the box, Van Hout got red. Mbokani missed the penalty.

With one man more on the field, Anderlecht started creating more chances. 10 minutes before the end, Deschacht equalised with a shot. The score remained 1-1.
