OTHER Flemish newspaper Het Nieuwsblad made an overview of the sponsor deals of the different teams in the Jupiler Pro League. It comes as no surprise that Anderlecht have most income out of sponsor deals. Their shirt sponsor BNP Paribas Fortis pays seven million Euros a year.

Club Bruges are only second. They receive "only" 3 to 3.5 million Euros a year. Anderlecht and Club Bruges share the same co-sponsor: Proximus. Club Bruges receive 750,000 Euros annually from them. The amount Anderlecht receives is unknown.

The big difference between Anderlecht and the rest has different reasons. Anderlecht have been working together with BNP Paribas since 1981 and Anderlecht are a guarantee for success. Anderlecht is also the only team with many fans in both regions of Belgium.
