Anderlecht player and Polish international Marcin Wasilewksi is not yet thinking about the end of his career. “I can’t let myself think about it, I’d go crazy,” says the 32-year-old defender in Polish magazine Newsweek.
“I’m well aware that the end of my career as a footballer is closer than it was a few years back, but I try not to think about it. I just can’t imagine the day when I wake up and I don’t have to go to training,” he said. “My wife wouldn’t know what to do with me all day.”
Wasyl tries to look on the bright side: “I know for a fact that the Rangers had a 40-year-old player in the Champions League, so who knows…”
