GAMES - YOUTH Anderlecht are playing the semi-final of the UEFA Youth League against Chelsea FC this Friday at 1 pm. Captain Nathan De Medina is ambitious. "We want to do better than last year. That means we want to win", he states.

"We know Chelsea have talented youth. My team mates told me they have a great young striker as well (Tammy Abraham)."

Chelsea are the favorites, but Anderlecht do not give up. "We have a good team and have been looking forward to this moment. We worked hard for this and are ready for it. We were lucky against Zagreb but we deserve to be in the semi-final of this League."

"These matches may influence our careers"

De Medina was also part of last season's team that lost against Chelsea. "We maybe had more individual talent last year but we still have a very talented group. We should show that to the rest of Europe."

The Youth League is also the perfect platform to show your talent to top teams in Europe. "This is an important tournament, as a young player you want to show what you are made of. These matches might influence our careers. We need to step up to the first team now. Everyone is very motivated."
