Deschacht: "Play-offs can be frustrating"

INTERVIEWS Olivier Deschacht is not a big fan of the current Belgian formula with a play-off system. However, this system can be advantageous for Anderlecht this time and the defender does not fail to admit that.

"It is very frustrating to see half of your points disappear at the start of the play-offs. So honestly, I am not a fan of the play-offs", Deschacht states. "However, for the fans this is fantastic. The title race stays exciting until the very last match of the season. This also means that the start of the season is not important anymore. All big teams try to be ready for the last ten matches."

"At the moment we only have to look at ourselves and aim for the title. We will see after three matches if we still make a chance or not."
