For the function as a trainer, three names go around in the Vanden Stock Stadium. John Van Den Brom, coach for Vitesse in Holland, is first choice. The Anderlecht board recognises his accomplishments in Holland and also noticed his positive impact on players. Though the trainer still has a contract in Holland and he can only leave after a payment of 600.000 euros.
