Belgian U21 suffer painful defeat

GAMES - YOUTH The Belgian national U21 suffered a painful 1-2 defeat against Montenegro in the qualification round for the European Championship. Davy Roef, Michaël Heylen (picture) and Dennis Praet played the entire match. Youri Tielemans went off the pitch after 66 minutes and Samuel Bastien was sidelined the entire match.

This defeat means Czech Republic are two points ahead of Belgium. Only the group winner is qualified directly for the European Championship, the second of the group plays a knock-out match.
