Hasi: "Should transit European performance to Belgian league"

INTERVIEWS Despite the defeat against Shakhtar and the fact that Anderlecht did not have a single scoring opportunity, coach Besnik Hasi looks back on the European campaign with a good feeling. "However, it is true. We missed something extra in the penalty area."

Anderlecht had most ball possession against Shakhtar but did not do anything useful with it. "We missed that last decisive pass or something that could make the difference. We are defeated, but we did not deserve this. Our European campaign was positive. We played against some strong teams and did a good job."

The Mauves should now focus on the Belgian league. "Only the competition and the title counts now. We have to play ten finals. We have already lost a lot of points, now it is time to show ourselves."

The European campaign should give confidence. "We showed what we are capable of doing. In the play-offs we are only playing against good teams. If we keep focused, we should be able to transit our European performance in the Belgian league as well. The play-offs are the perfect opportunity to show our skills."
