Preko: "Acheampong is my successor"

INTERVIEWS Yaw Preko was one of the last successful Ghanaian players at Anderlecht back in the nineties and it looks like Acheampong is ready to follow his footsteps. Preko follows him from close-by and knows Acheampong very well.

"As national coach of the U20 in Ghana I gave him a lot of advice", Preko says. "We call him "race car" at the national team because he is just so fast. Also his timing and positioning is better now and he is ready to become my successor."
