Vanden Stock: "Player showed they are behind the coach"

INTERVIEWS Chairman Vanden Stock confirms a dismissal of coach Besnik Hasi has always been out of the question for the Anderlecht board. "It were the fans and the media who wanted that. They put all the pressure on the coach."

"If we hadn't been defeated by Moucron, there would never have been a problem", the chairman states. "It was always clear to me we wanted to continue with Hasi for the rest of the season."

Title

The championship title is the main target for Anderlecht now. "We have to win our first three games to put pressure on our opponents. This is a nice playing schedule for us, first against Genk and we finish the season at Zulte. Also in the matches against Bruges we should obtain a good result."
