Boelens: "Fans are in conflict"

INTERVIEWS The disagreement of the fans with the way things are currently going at Anderlecht are not a secret anymore and in some way, they are right. Ivan Boelens of fan federation ASA believes the next match against KV Kortrijk will become very important to keep the Anderlecht fans satisfied.

"The fans are in conflict at the moment", Boelens states. "One part of the fans is still supporting Besnik Hasi, another part is against the coach."

"The match against KV Kortrijk will be important. The fans want to stay positive but if we are put behind by Kortrijk, it might be a tough match for Hasi. All fans agree about the fact that the inconsistency of the team is also the players' fault. They played a good second half against Shakhtar, we want to see that this weekend as well."

Everyone behind the team

No special actions are planned. "We are expecting everyone to support the team, no matter what happens, but a lot will depend on this Sunday. If they can get a good result against Kortrijk, Hasi can lead us towards the title."
