What about De Bilde?

Gilles De Bilde is expected back on Anderlecht on Friday. "We are going to talk about my return in the A-team", he says. But is this really the case? Hugo Broos doesn't want to striker back...


"I'll do what the club asks me. I know that I won't be immediatly in the starting line-up again, but I worked on my condition", says the striker.
"Though it's hard to work yourself back into the team. I really want to come back."
"I have no problems with Hugo Broos, but I can't change the current situation. I don't need to proof myself anymore. I'm smarter than that."

Hugo Broos doesn't want Gilles De Bilde back in the A-team.
On Thursday, the managers Michel Verschueren and Herman Van Holsbeeck had suggested his return, but trainer Broos is determined. "I don't want him in the team. It's not needed anyway. I don't feel any pressure from the board."
"De Bilde will train again, but in Neerpede, with the youth team. Far away from the A-team."
