Bastien close to Liverpool deal?

TRANSFERS Several English websites are reporting that Liverpool FC are eager to land Anderlecht's Samuel Bastien. They are even said to be making a seven million Euros bid for the player. However, it is not clear how serious this news should be taken.

On Italian website Calciomercato is reported that Liverpool is looking at the Italian market and that they are showing interest for Bastien. The Italians also claim that Liverpool made a bid for Samuel Bastien, even before he moved to Avellino on loan trial. Also Roma, Fiorentina and Sevilla seem to have shortlisted Bastien, whose market value is around seven million Euros.

This is an entirely different story than the so-called bid of seven million Euros for Samuel Bastien.
