Cyriac being followed by Anderlecht

Anderlecht are interested in Cyriac of Standard. The 21 year old striker is unhappy with his current contract, which was not yet improved by his club. The deal ends in 2013 so it's likely Cyriac will leave in June.


By leaving in June, Standard would still receive some cash for his talented player. But the club will probably not let him go to a direct competitor such as Anderlecht. But there D'Onofrio is eager to help. The former Standard president is still a close friend of Vanden Stock, even after his attempt to join Anderlecht's direction board failed. He might be able to convince Standard to agree with a transfer.

Another key person could be Cyriac's manager. He never did business with Anderlecht before. So estabishing contact with the Brussels' club could also open doors for him.
