WEBSITE The championship title is far away for Anderlecht after another shameful performance. Anderlecht-online represent the double of fans that can attend a match in the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium. This open letter wants to highlight the problems Anderlecht are facing. Do you share our opinion? Your comments are always welcome and please feel free to share this letter on social media.

Dear board,

We do not doubt your good intentions and ambitions, but it is difficult to deny that Anderlecht's performance is beyond all expectations the last few months. Are we really going towards a club of fallen glory? Anderlecht are supposed to technically refined football. Anderlecht should battle for the victory until the very last second. Instead of that, we are being outclassed by teams who are close to dropping out of the first league. Instead of that, we are looking at a bunch of loaned players who are walking over the pitch. This looks like a bad copy of last season. The club was said to be giving priority to the youth, but not a lot of youngsters are being given a chance. Where is the quality to become the champions? What is the plan to win the title? Dear board, we kindly invite you to share your long term vision and plans with the fans. We are looking forward to this.

Dear coach,

We have a lot of respect for your career at the team. And do not worry, that respect will stay forever. But this team, you do not seem to be able to let the team play good football, and that is the responsibility of the coach. Where are the automatisms? Who are we hardly scoring on set-plays, penalty kicks included? Where is the consistency? Why is this group not motivated? Have you ever heard of a punishment training to teach our spoilt players a lesson? And last but not least, have you ever watched your figures? Your statistics are even worse than at the moment the contested John Vanden Brom was being sacked. Since the season 1997-1998, this is the worst season at Anderlecht. We cannot keep denying it, this is largely inadequate. And, dear coach, can you continue being the coach of a top team like Anderlecht with these figures?

Dear players,

We will keep supporting you. That is what we are supposed to do as fans. But we do not need your apologies anymore after a match. We heard these many times  before. You show a poor performance, offer your apologies and do exactly the same the week after. This is a lack of respect towards the fans and the team, it is a disgrace. The way you are playing hurts our eyes. Also the lack of motivation and devotion hurts us. You are playing for the biggest team in Belgium and an icon in European football history. Behave like it. Football is supposed to be a team sports where the individual should be inferior to the team. It is about time you work on this together. You should be happy to have a career in football, at any other company your dismissal would have been prepared already. Do you know the expression "wages for work"? Dear players, what will it be? Less wages, or... work harder? Or should we agree with Anthony in the end?

Hoping for a positive reaction,
Yours sincerely,
The humiliated Anderlecht fans
