Father Musonda: "I thought about a move to Anderlecht"

INTERVIEWS Charly Musonda Jr. has been playing for Betis Sevilla since the winter break and is leaving a fantastic impression in Spain. Nevertheless, Musonda's father was not convinced about a move to Spain and had another destination in mind.

His father believes his son should have tried to knock himself into the first team at Chelsea, but technical director Michaël Emenalo convinced them to leave on loan trial. "I thought Spain would be too difficult for a player without experience. I was thinking about Germany or Belgium, even about a return to Anderlecht."
