Proto: "Ghent are doing a great job"

INTERVIEWS AA Ghent are playing the 1/8th finals of the UEFA Champions League tonight. Anderlecht failed to reach this stage in the last eight years but they are not jealous. "This should inspire us", reacts goalkeeper Silvio Proto.

"I can only be happy for Ghent they got so far, and even with great football. Nobody expected this to happen to AA Ghent but it is great for Belgian football."

Ghent are also on top of the Belgian league and are the favorites for the championship title. Proto warns them: "Last year they were the underdog, now everyone knows they are able to take the title. They are the favorites and the other teams will play with a different attitude against them."

"Ghent's strong point is that they play as one complete team. Anderlecht has more individual talent but nobody ever won the championship on his own. We are working hard to become a team."
