GAMES - INTERVIEWS The players asked the fans to come and support them in the important match against Greek side Olympiakos. The visitors' box is completely sold out, but there are still seats available in the rest of the stadium.

There are still 7000 tickets available for this match. Communication manager David Steegen sees different reasons for this. "It is clear that the Europe League does not have the same fame as the Champions League. Plus, the competitor also plays a role. Chelsea or PSG are famous teams. Olympiakos are a great team with lots of qualities, but they are not that famous."

Early kick-off

Ivan Boelens, who is the secretary of the Mauves fan federations, also thinks the timing of the kick-off is important. "The match starts at 7 pm, which is quite early for people who still need to work that day. Young fans often also have training themselves at that time."

"People are also tired of the police controls. And they are not allowed to leave the stadium during half-time. That is frustrating to the fans", says Boelens.
