Vanden Borre not going to Sion

TRANSFERS Anthony Vanden Borre will not be joining Swiss side FC Sion. His manager Fouad Ben Koulder now claims that Vanden Borre will join the Anderlecht U21 and that he will show an excellent mentality.

"There are no financial problems with Sion", said Ben Koulder. "Sion want to use Vanden Borre as a defensive midfielder. However, Vanden Borre wants to play as a right defender so he still makes a chance to be selected for the European Championship."

Ben Koulder claims that Vanden Borre is now focusing on Anderlecht. "He will join the U21 and do the best he can. He will show an excellent mentality and we will see what the future brings."
