"Bastien can achieve great things"

INTERVIEWS Samuel Bastien is leaving a great impression at Avellino and also his team mate Benjamin Mokulu testifies that the 19-year-old midfielder is playing a very solid season.

"Samuel found his way in Italy and adapts really quick", says Mokulu. "People are talking about him and many teams showed their interest in the winter break. His contract has a purchase clause for four million Euros. That may seem a lot of money, but teams are willing to pay that amount for him. If he keeps up the good work, he can achieve great things."

Anderlecht-online asked Italian journalist Domenico Fabriccini's opinion on Bastien a couple of weeks ago. He stated that the young Anderlecht midfielder is a great player but not consistent enough. That might explain why he is still being replaced in most games.
