Acheampong: "Hope to stay in the midfield"

GAMES - INTERVIEWS Frank Acheampong replaced Lukebakio yesterday, who was punished, and the Ghanaian player thanked Hasi with two goals. Acheampong thanked God for this opportunity and hopes he convinced the coach now that he deserves more than a place on the bench.

"It's the first time I score twice for Anderlecht", Acheampong said. "Twice is my personal record, I never scored a hattrick."

Acheampong stayed calm as he scored the first goal. "I proved that I am a cold-blooded killer", the winger laughed. "I prefer playing in the midfield, so I hope I can keep that position for the rest of the season. We only need more time to get used to each other but I am confident for the next weeks."
