Vargas out for a few months

Ronald Vargas got injured yesterday after just four minutes of play. The South American playmaker fell through his knee and couldn't play anymore. He was rushed to the hospital and examined today.


"Ronald has a serious knee injury at the same knee on which he had an injury before. It's bad, but not as bad as we had feared", the club communicated.

Vargas has a serious injury at the knee tendon. Though both his ligaments escaped untouched. 'La Perla' faces a recovery of a few months. But it seems he'll still be able to play this season.

Vargas joined Anderlecht during the summer. The Mauves bought the player from Club Brugge for 2.5 million. Vargas had just recovered from an even more serious knee injury (same knee).
