Malaga and Lille were too late for Suarez

TRANSFERS Malaga and Lille were both interested to sign Anderlecht's Matias Suarez in the final hours before the transfer deadline, but they did not come to an agreement in time. That means Suarez will probably stay at Anderlecht for the rest of the season.

The Argentinian is sure to leave in the summer period. He has a contract until 2017 but it seems unrealistic that Anderlecht will propose a new contract to the striker, who did not meet the expectations the last seasons. Suarez will probably return to Argentina.
