OTHER Besnik Hasi came prepared to today's press conference about the match against Sint-Truiden. As he was expecting questions about a possible return of Anthony Vanden Borre, he prepared a statement that he read out to the press.

"We have an important match against STVV tomorrow, so I do not want to talk about Vanden Borre. As I understand there will be questions about him anyway, I want to make a statement", Hasi said.

Players are most important

"The case Vanden Borre is complicated", he said. "It can go either way. Herman Van Holsbeeck has his reasons to talk about a return. This is not only about Vanden Borre, but also about my players. They are the most important and they are being affected because of this. I sent Anthony to the second team because I wanted to protect my players. He insulted and attacked them, and I do not tolerate this. I will also not accept that."

"The most important is that, whatever the decision is, everyone is behind that decision and also accepts it. The next weeks will be important to come to a solution. That's all I want to say about this, and I hope we can talk about the match now", stated Hasi.
