INTERVIEWS Aleksandar Mitrovic made the move from Partizan Belgrade to Anderlecht for 5 million Euros in 2013 and it looks like the negotiations between Mitrovic and Partizan were not a big success. Albert Nadj, former player and board member of Partizan says there were serious discussions between the two parties.

Aleksandar Mitrovic joined Anderlecht after a successful European Championship U19 in 2012 and a good season at Belgrade. The father of Mitrovic seems to have played an important role in the negotiations. "Partizan wanted to keep Aleksandar. He could still make progress with us and afterwards we could have sold him for a lot more money than the five million Euros we received now", says Nadj.

"Mitrovic' father simply did not want to listen. He even threatened to throw a bomb at the club if we didn't want to cooperate. We threw him out, but after a while we even received phone calls from politicians to let Mitrovic go. We then realized we had no other choice but to let him leave", Albert Nadj reacts.
