What about the stadium enlargement?

Club Brugge's new stadium won't be for tomorrow. Belgian court suspended the construction of the new football temple. But what with the enlargement of the Vanden Stock Stadium in Brussels?


Anderlecht filed their permit for enlarging the stadium in July. At the moment, the impact of the changes are being examined. Afterwards, also the residents of streets around the stadium can report their remarks or ask questions.

If this first phase ends well, the infrastructure around the stadium can be changed. This won't be before May 2012 though. The actual enlargement of Anderlecht's home ground is planned for the season of 2013-2014, in which the club will probably play in the King Boudewijn Stadium. This because the seats are not accessible during the works. The end of scheduled for June 2014.
