Deschacht: "Help our youngsters"

INTERVIEWS Olivier Deschacht claims Anderlecht played quite well against AA Ghent. They had some difficulties in the first half but the second half was a lot better. "We deserved a draw. We had three - four chances to score on the pitch of the champions", Deschacht reacted.

"AA Ghent played with their best team, we had many players who were out. Defour and Dedoncker were injured, Najar played an entire match after only one training session. Praet and Heylen played on a position they weren't used to, and Trézéguet played his first match. It's normal we had difficulties."

It became clear Anderlecht need reinforcements to win the title. "I already said that in the past, but the board weren't happy about it. Let's say our youngsters have qualities and we should be there to help them", Deschacht states.
