Mitrovic: "I am very grateful to Hasi"

INTERVIEWS Aleksander Mitrovic finished fourth in the Golden Shoe election 2015 and was the highest ranked Anderlecht player. Mitrovic was obviously delighted with this news.

The striker was the winner of the first round. "I had two great seasons at Anderlecht, especially the last couple of months everything went perfect for me", Mitrovic reacts. "It is clear I am very happy to be the best player of the first half of 2015."

"Hasi was like a father to me"

"I am very grateful to Anderlecht and coach Besnik Hasi. It's because of them I was able to show my skills. Especially Hasi helped me through some hard times. He was like a father to me."

Despite the fact that he has not played for Anderlecht this season, he is still the highest ranked Anderlecht player of 2015. "This is very strange to me. I only have one message for my former team mates: try to take revenge. Bring the title back to Anderlecht. I will always have great memories thinking back about my period at Anderlecht."
