Deschacht: "I'm staying at Anderlecht"

INTERVIEWS Olivier Deschacht is preparing the second half of the season with Anderlecht, despite the interest of LA Galaxy. "I'm staying at Anderlecht", the defender states."This is the team of my heart."

"LA Galaxy contacted my manager, but I love Anderlecht too much to leave them right now. We will see what happens after this season. It sure would be a great challenge."

"Not the right attitude"

"We want to win the championship and go through to the next round of the Europe League. It is possible with this team, but our youngsters need more time. I am not sure if they have the right attitude. They sure have a great future in front of them, but I believe we need more players with attitude, players who are not afraid to take the lead."

"We played some great games"

Anderlecht haven't played very impressive the last couple of months. "Maybe we sometimes underestimate our opponents, but let's not forget that these opponents are extra motivated to defeat Anderlecht", Deschacht says.

"After all, the last months weren't terrible. We played some great games and qualified for the next stage in the Europe League. We shouldn't be too negative, there is always room for improvement."
