Acheampong eager to play for Ghana again

INTERVIEWS Frank Acheampong has set up a target for 2016: he wants to win back his spot in the Ghanaian national team. "I know there is a lot of competition, but I am convinced I will come back on the right moment."

The last time he played for Ghana was in January 2015. "I am always ready to play for my country. It is the dream of every player to defend the colours of your home country."

However, he realises it will not be easy. "Ghana has many players in Europe and in its own championship. We cannot play all at the same time, but I have high hopes to get a chance to play."
