Anderlecht took a bad start in the play-offs. In what was probably the worst game of the whole season, the Mauves were humiliated on their own ground against Standard's reserves: 1-3 !

Standard began with their reserve team, since they also need the play the semi finals of the Cup on Wednesday. The Mauves missed Biglia with a suspension and Seck replaced the injured Mazuch.

The first half was terrible for the fans. Barely a chance, low pace, no good passes and lack of creativity. Both teams played un-interested, but after a mistake at the back Standard could open the score. The ball came back from the post twice, but in the second rebound Nong - left alone by the defence - could score.

Anderlecht did not react and close before the break, the visitors doubled their lead. Seck tackled in the box and referee Nzolo gave penalty. Proto stopped the ball, but the rebound went in via Juhasz.

After the break, there was no reaction of the home side. Standard even scored again. Mistakes at the backed piled up and Seck let Nong score his second. A bit later, Gillet made the only goal for Anderlecht. The Mauves didn't come any further, despite the fact that Legear had the opportunity to score Anderlecht's second...
