Anderlecht to end the year with a victory

Anderlecht ended the year with another victory. Kortrijk was beaten with 0-2. That way, Anderlecht completed a difficult task, because Kortrijk managed to beat all top clubs this season ... until now.


The visitors immediately showed their offensive intentions and pinned down Kortrijk on the midfield. Within the first 15 minutes, the opening goal already fell: Boussoufa centered and Gillet scored with a header.

Kortrijk was lucky to go into the break with just one goal difference. Lukaku and Kanu missed a few good chances and also goalie Verbauwhede kept the gap to just one goal.

The second half saw more of the same. The Mauves were better, though Kortrijk took a bit more initiative. But when Gershon defeated his own keeper, the game was over. Boussoufa and Lukaku had chances to score one more, but the 0-2 stayed on the score board. In the last minute, Kortrijk had a good chance to score at least one goal, but Rossini missed.
