Mbodj or Toloi to reinforce the defence?

TRANSFERS The Mauves are still looking to reinforce the defence. Kara Mbodj of Racing Genk is the major candidate, but Anderlecht prefers not to dispense more than 5 million on a central defender. Genk put a price of 7 million on his head.

According to manager Mogy Bayat, his transfer is not possibe at the moment.

An alternative would be Rafael Tolói of Sao Paulo. The defender is cheaper and younger, but the Anderlecht staff is a bit troubled about the fact that he now and then loses concentration and therefore makes mistakes. Something that could cost Anderlecht several points in the league and in European games. Nonetheless, Toloi has been invited to watch Anderlecht-Gent of next Sunday.

Anderlecht also informed about Ryan Donck. The former Brugian player is now active in Turkey and would be financially feasible for Anderlecht. But seen his past, playing for one of Anderlecht's biggest competitors, he's probably not eager on joining the Brussels' team.

And what about reinforcements on the midfielder? Boussoufa is still an option and Lokomotiv Moscow seems ready to sell him, since they are in need of money. But Praet and Boussoufa in the same team, would probably not work. So the Mauves are not taking action just yet.
