GAMES For the first time in history, Anderlecht managed to beat OH Leuven in their own stadium in a league game. The two previous encounters ended in a defeat. This time, the Mauves won with a 0-2 score with goals of Sylla and Tielemans.

The first half wasn't worth much. Anderlecht played poorly and couldn't create a lot of chances. Gillet was the closest to scoring for Anderlecht. Though OHL had the best chances and actually had control over the game. Bostock and Cerigioni were the the closest to score for the home team. On top of that, Anderlecht couldn't complain when Dendoncker only got yellow for pulling down Kostovski. The referee decided that he wasn't the last man with Deschacht still being in the neighbourhood.

The second half brought more of the same in the first ten minutes. But when Ezekiel and Najar entered play, things started to change. The Mauves were able to put more pressure on the home defence now and a goal soon followed. Ezekiel centred after a good combination with Najar and Sylla scored with a header. Five minutes later, the game was over. Tielemans dribbled throught OHL's defence and placed the ball into the right corner: 0-2.

From then on, Anderlecht controlled the match and still had a few chances to score an additional goal. But the scoreline remained unchanged.
