Anderlecht is on training camp in Holland and is working with revolutionary technology. The Mauves are the first football team in Europe to use three dimensional pressure suits.

The idea is to use them permanently to improve the players' fitness and to prevent injuries.

Tom De Sutter was guinea pig. The suits revealed a small asymmetry in the back. Further analysing also showed abnormal augmented pressure on certain parts of his feet while running. These data will now be used to adjust the running pattern and prevent injuries.

The suits were custom made for each player by the Center for Technical Orthopedia. Jacobs: "Football is a matter of details. By having control of all these details, we can prevent injuries."
