Rumours about the transfers

The Italian Lazio Roma is showing interest in Cheikhou Kouyaté. Anderlecht informed the Italian club that a transfer is not an option. Meanwhile, Kouyaté is working on his procedure to obtain the Belgian nationality.


Further, Westerlo and Lokeren are considering a transfer of Hernan Losada. For Westerlo, Losada will most likely be too expensive. Lokeren on the other hand, show interest in Iakovenko, but the Ukrainian does not want to leave. The club therefore identified Losada as a good alternative.

Zulte Waregem loaned the 19 year old talented midfielder René Sterckx of Anderlecht. Sterckx earlier signed a new deal for the Mauves.

And what about the incoming transfers? Manager Van Holsbeeck confirmed that Anderlecht is still looking for one new player. High on the list remains Egyptian Mahmoud Shikabala of Zamalek. The Belgian club already offered three million for him, but Zamalek did not yet accept.
