Jelle Van Damme will leave Anderlecht for Wolverhampton. He can earn up to one million per year in the Premier League. Despite the fact Anderlecht offered him an improved deal, he decided to go to England.

"It's a great opportunity", he said. "Especially coach Mick McCarthy stressed the importance of having a player like me in his team. I already visited the city and I was charmed. We are looking for a house now."

Wolverhampton, that almost relegated this season, shows ambition. "The club is paying three million for me. That shows that they are ambitious."

Anderlecht and Wolverhampton are now negotiating about the deal, but they will soon come to an agreement.
Wolverhampton will be Van Damme's second club in England. Earlier, he played for Southampton.
