Press conference: Anderlecht to new stadium in 2019

OTHER Today a press conference was held about the Eurostadium. The agreement, that was already announced yesterday, has been confirmed. Anderlecht will move in 2019.

On July 1 of the year 2019 the new stadium will open. It will be able to receive 60.000 fans. The club confirms that it will try to fill it up to 40.000 or 45.000 for every game, and possibly more for important matches. The city of Brussels will also contribute to the maintenance costs of the stadium.

The subway line will be extended to the stadium, which will also have a parking for 11.000 cars. There will be a bicycle parking, a park and other facilities. The current national stadium will be taken down in 2020.
