Walem leaves the club, Scifo to replace him?

Johan Walem will no longer be Anderlecht's youth trainer. The former Belgian international ended his cooperation with the club due to personal reasons. Walem stressed though that he had two fanstastic years working for the club.


Herman Van Holsbeeck regrets Walem's decision: "Johan managed to close the gap between the first team and our young potentionals. We are grateful and respect his decision, but it will be hard to find a good replacement."

Meanwhile, the club asked Enzo Scifo, also former international and one of Anderlecht's best players ever, to take the vacant job. Scifo first wants some time to think about the offer.
