After the good game against Club Brugge, Anderlecht lost at home against STVV. The Mauves played a weak game and therefore lost the three points. The final result was 1-2.

The game started at a low pace with few chances. Though Van Damme could bring the Mauves ahead with a header: 1-0. The home side had the chance to double their lead, but failed to do so. When the visitors equalised via Delorge, Anderlecht lost control over the match.

Also in the second half, the Brussels team couldn't threaten Sint-Truiden. Only when Lukaku entered the field, Anderlecht started to push forward. The best striker of the league had several chances to put Anderlecht ahead again. But when Mazuch tackled a STVV striker in the box, the ball was put on the penalty spot. With just two minutes to play, Chimeza completed the stunt. That way, STVV won twice against Anderlecht this season...
