Tom De Sutter has not yet scored for Anderlecht in this year's Jupiler Pro League campaign, and he is without a goal since he registered in the 4-0 in the Champions League qualifier against Sivasspor on July 28.

Despite the constant presence of rain in Brussels, De Sutter's drought has been worrying for the Belgian vice-champions. The 24-year-old missed a simple chance in his side's table-topping clash against STVV on Saturday. The 2-1 defeat for Les Mauves marked their first defeat in the league.

"I really should have scored on Saturday. I was left totally unmarked in front of an empty net. We could have picked up the full three points if I did score," De Sutter told Sporza, "I do not feel like I played a bad match. I hardly got any chances. Everybody knows that I do my utmost for the team.

Despite being unable to hit the back of the net for nearly two months for both RSCA and the Belgian national team, De Sutter remains confident, "I am not letting it get to my head. Last season I also have difficulty scoring in my first matches against Cercle. There are plenty of games coming up in which I can score. Things are going better on the training pitch."
