Dinamo Zagreb eyeing victory against Anderlecht

Reigning Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb take on RSCA on Thursday the 17th of September in the opening game of their Europa League group phase campaign. Both teams are in Group A alongside Ajax and Romanian side Timisoara.

Dinamo's Igor Biscan is looking forward to the match and has made it clear that his team are confident, declaring that he expects nothing less than a victory in front of their home crowd.

"The match against Anderlecht is the first group match and is extremely important. We have a lot of respect for Anderlecht, but we have always been impressive at home. I expect us to pick up the full three points," said the former Liverpool and Panathinaikos defender.

Young Crotian striker Mario Mandzukic added, "We have a good chance to beat Anderlecht. It will not be an easy task, but I think we can pull it off with the help of our fans".

Furthermore, NK Dinamo Zagreb have high hopes for the forthcoming group stage campaign and their new high-profile signing, former international Leandro Cufré.
