Nzolo: "Everyone was in shock"

In Het Nieuwsblad also referee Jérôme Efong Nzolo reacts on what has happened this weekend. “It was the most serious injury I’ve ever seen in my career,” says Nzolo.

"I’m a sensitive person, and when I saw Wasyl’s leg I had to close my eyes for a minute,” he says. “I waited until Wailewski was off the field to start the game again, because everyone was in shock.”
