Anderlecht's captain Olivier Deschacht was very disappointed after losing the game in Lyon. “We’re back with our feet on the ground. Those two fast goals killed us.”

"Also another difference: we didn’t get a penalty, they did. If it had been 1-1, I would like to see the game again. Of course it’s easy to say this afterwards, but still… And after the 2-0 we were more occupied with handling the ref than trying to play our game. Then it was 3-0, and then you know the game is over. That’s football…”

On Saturday we’re going to Zulte Waregem. We won’t have forgotten about this defeat by then,” says Deschacht. “It’s a difficult game already, and now it’ll get more difficult because of this.”

"But we’re going for it, we owe it to our fans. In Lyon there were 3.000 of them, so they expect something of us. And Tuesday we have to prove we are worthy of the Europe League.”
